PANEER PULAO

PANEER PULAO


                   Paneer Pulao which has less spicy with mild flavours. It takes nearly 20 min to prepare, those who don't have time to prepare lunch can prefer this paneer pulao will be very easy and tasty food. This is one of the variety rice which can prefer for kids lunch box.

Ingredients:
  • Basmathi Rice – 1 cup
  • Water – 2 cup
  • Onion – 2 (Chopped)
  • Green chillies – 2 (slit Lengthwise)
  • Capsicum – 1 (slit Lengthwise)
  • Peas – 1/2 cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Paneer cubes - 15 - 20 cubes
  • Mint Leaves - handful
  • coriander Leaves - handful
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - As needed.
Spices:
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cardamom - 1
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch
To Prepare Panner:
  • Cut the Paneer into small cubes.
  • Shallow fry the paneer cubesin oil until golden brown.
  • Put the fried paneer cubes in warm water with a little salt for few minutes, drain them and keep aside.
Methods:
  • Soak the Basmathi rice in water for 20 mins .In that mean time proceed to the below procedure.
  • In a pressure cook , heat oil and add all the spices. Let them fry for few seconds.
  • When they crackle, Add the Onions and green chillies and saute till it turns transparent.
  • Then , add ginger & garlic paste and saute it for 2mins.
  • Then , Peas, capsicum, mint leaves , coriander leaves and saute it for 2 mins.
  • Atlast, add the drained basmathi rice and saute it for 2 mins , then add 2 cups of hot water, salt and lemon juice  . 
  • let them boil for 3mins (now taste the water, if needed add salt as per your taste) , mix well and cover the pressure cook with the lid and leave pressure cook for 2 whistle.  
  • Open the pressure cook when the steam completely releases.
  • Then , Add the fried paneer cubes and mix it well without breaking the rice.
  • Serve hot with Pakoda kurma , raita or chips.
